Deadlines-December 15th! Enter the Boulevard Emerging Writers Contest & submit to The Truth About the Fact: A Journal of Literary Nonfiction.
Boulevard Magazine is sponsoring a short fiction contest for emerging writers (which means you have not published a book of fiction, poetry or non-fiction with a "nationally distributed press.") All entries must be postmarked by December 15th. Previously accepted or published work is out of the question. The editors will judge. There is an entry fee of $15.00 per individual story, but no limit on the number of entries. That entry fee includes a one year subscription to the magazine. Make that check payable to Boulevard.
There is no maximum length, and your name, address and telephone number should appear on the first page of your manuscript. No cover sheets necessary. Do double-space your entry. Send your manuscript, a 3 x 5 inch index card with your name, address and title (of submission) and a SAS postcard (for acknowledgement of receipt) to:
Boulevard Emerging Writers Contest

At stake: $1,500.00 and publication in Spring or Fall 2007 issue of Boulevard!
