As a new member of the Writing Craft Book Club I must sing its praises! My first meeting was a few weeks ago and it held vibrant conversation and rejuvinated my writer's soul. It's wonderful to come together with like minded writers.

I'm looking forward to our next discussion on June 2nd and so far my favorite sentence from the book above is: "And when you come to the end of the path, you have a sentence." Stanley Fish said that after he quoted Dillard's line: "The line of text is a miner's pick, a woodcarver's gouge."

I just love this book! I can't wait to talk about it.

Write on,
Starra
